The Championship will start on day one with a pro-am consisting of teams of four and will havve two shotgun starts - one in the morning and one in the afternoon - comprising up to twenty-two teams in each.
For the team competition the best net score to count out of four with the professional's score also being recorded for round one of the 36 hole World Hickory Open and the second round will be held on the following day as will as separate 18 hole competition for amateurs.
Tournaments are open to professionals, amateurs and ladies.
Sets of six original, hand-restored clubs will be available, again supplied by the World Hickory Company.

The prize fund for both events will be published at a later date and in accordance with PGA recommendations.
Hamilton & Inches have very kindly provided a beautiful solid silver quaich to be presented to the World Hickory Champion whose name will be engraved on the plinth.
