Rules
The Open will be an eighteen hole medal/stroke play competition. Competitors must play with pre-1935 hickory golf clubs (supplied if necessary at no charge).

Normal and local golf rules will apply with the addition of any PGA amendments.

The Original Rules

In 1744 the world's first written Rules of Golf were drawn up at Leith in Scotland by the 'Gentleman Golfers', later to become the
Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers.
