The Euan MacDonald Centre
The Euan MacDonald Centre is a hub of clinical and academic research excellence at the University of Edinburgh. They are committed to defeating Motor Neurone Disease through innovative fundamental research.
The Centre focuses on developing more effective treatment for patients and forms part of a worldwide effort towards finding a cure for the disease.
The Centre builds on an already strong research-base into motor neurone biology at the University and benefits from a wide-range of expertise in regenerative medicine and stem cell research, neuroscience, molecular medicine and genetics.
The Euan MacDonald Centre was established in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2007, by the generosity of MND patient Euan MacDonald and his father, Donald.
The Euan MacDonald Centre provides:
• A full spectrum of clinical services for MND patients
• State of the art research into the causes of MND and potential therapies
• Training for the next generation of clinicians and research leaders

Keepers of the Green
Keepers of the Green is an international golfing fellowship, founded in 1995 and based in St Andrews, whose two fold mission is:
"To promote the traditions of the game of golf and to provide powered mobility for the needy".
Since its formation, Keepers of the Green's extensive fundraising activities have resulted in life changing experiences for over 300 individuals who have been presented with powered wheelchairs.
